Saving error with massive text file (13GB)

Hey gang, first problem I've ever encountered with TextPad so I'm hoping to make the developers aware or get some advice myself.

I have a 13GB text file that I'm editing with textpad 7.4 x64. I'm able to open the file and verify that its complete. When I try to save the file there is an incomplete save (only about the first 500MB is saved). Textpad does not report any error. What could be the issue? I'm running windows 7 x64 and I've got 48GB of RAM.

Love textpad by the way. Great product!
