Workspace/Tab Group Problem?

I have a workspace with 15 files loaded into 2 different tab groups. All of the files contain lines longer than the view window can display. I have 10 files in the left tab group and 5 files in the right tab group. When I load the workspace, the first 5 files in the left have horizontal scroll bars displayed and active. The remaining 5 files on the left and the 5 on the right display the horizontal scroll bar, but it is not active - in order to make them active I must either:
1) go to View menu and toggle Horizontal Scroll Bar for each file,
2) place the cursor in each file and use the arrow key to move past the edge on one of the long lines
3) resize the entire TextPad window, which seems to restore all scroll bars to an active state.

This is not the end of the world, of course, just another oddity regarding workspaces...

Has anyone else seen this sort of behavior? Perhaps there is a problem in restoring window state from the workspace file (beyond those already pointed out in other posts)?
