Using Textpad to search files from Windows context menu

Post by ben »

Hi,

I freqently have to search within multiple ascii text files at once for a given phrase or word. I really love the speed and ability of textpad's search function. I'd love to be able to use Textpad to do this kind of searching within documents by using the context menua within windows, so that when you right click on a folder an option will come up to use textpad to search within all specified files and subfolders for a spefic phrase or expression.

Does anybody know how to do this sort of thing? Maybe it might be a really neat functionality to include in a future update?

Cheers,

Ben

The only workaround I can come up with is to select multiple files, right click, TextPad, thereby opening those files in TextPad, then do a Find and select In All Documents.
(2[Bb]|[^2].|.[^Bb])

That is the question.
