I believe I found a bug in TextPad 6.1.3. I was searching a hex file using the find dialog, but when I closed the file, TextPad still thought I was searching a hex file. Most of the search options were grayed out, and it kept complaining that only hexadecimal digits were allowed. The only way to reset it was to close and reopen TextPad. Just closing and reopening the dialog didn't work.
