Textpad 5.4 - Preferences Options not display correctly?

Hi,

I installed Textpad 5.4 on my machine a few days ago. When I go to Configure->Preference->View, I don't see any check boxes so that I could select my view options. The check boxes display as grey vertical bars. Also, when I go to Configure->Preference->Tools, the Add button is missing from the window.

I have an older version of Textpad on another machine and I see the check boxes and Add button when I go to Configure->Preference->View or Tools.

Does any one know why I am having this issue? The Textpad 5.4 that I am running has a site license and the maximum users is 30. Is it possible I have max out the number of users and thus the options are turned off?

Both problems are known bugs in 5.4:
Preference property list bug in TextPad 5.4
Cannot Add External Tool

They were fixed in 5.4.1 and 5.4.2.

Since version 6 is a free upgrade from 5, you might consider asking Helios if you can upgrade all your licences to the latest version.
