newbie error: dragged File menu by mistake, now it is gone

Just playing around while bored on a phone call, I dragged the File menu (and the View menu too, as I recall) from the menu bar and into the edit area, and those menu items disappeared. The menu items remaining are Search Tools Macro Configure Window Help. I cannot see anything to help me, nor find anything in the Help file, or even on this forum.

I've never been able to drag a menu item word off of any program menu before. Maybe it's powerful, but, really, at this point I would just like it back.

You held down the Alt key while dragging the menu items. To get them back:

1. Right-click on an empty part of the menu bar.
2. Click Customize.
3. Select Menu Bar.
4. Click Reset.

Interesting that I could not find any help about it using words like missing, removed, drag, etc.
