Macro doesn't seem to do anything

Several months ago I made a bunch of macros I used all the time but when my company tech support 'saved' my hard drive they wiped out everything on my computer and I lost them.

I have been recreating them now, but I'm having this bizarre effect and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong:

They are all search & replace (many regular expressions). I test the actions, and they work. I record the macro, and then do the search and replace (all files), and it works.

Then when I 'play' the macro, nothing happens at all. Not even in the file in which I am sitting.

This has got to be something obvious I just don't know what. Can you help?
