I love the autosave feature for existing files and about 50% of the time for new files, but not all of the time.
Often I open up Textpad and just keep notes in a separate window on the screen (or a 2nd screen) that I do not want saved. Textpad though prompts me every 10 minutes to save my temporary stuff.
Today I put some notes in, then got a call and got distracted for about 30-45 minutes. When I came back to my PC, there were about 4 "Save As" dialog boxes for the same file!
It would be nice if there was an option in Preferences under Automatic Backups that said "only prompt once for new files." That way, if I want to save it, I pick a name and go. If I don't, then TP never bothers me again for this file.
