Version 5.4 Spell settings problem

I upgraded from TP 5.3.1 to 5,4 and instead of check boxes in Configuration\Preferences\Spelling, all one can see is a gray vertical bar on left of the options list, and can't tell what's checked and what isn't. Can someone please help? Thanks.

Thanks for the link. TP 5.41 corrects the problem.
