Hey guys I think I have tried all options on textpad.
I am using Textpad 5.3.1 on a Win XP professional machine.
When we click on the Print button or press Ctrl + P, it immediately prints the file to the printer.
Is it posible to add a confirmation box, that will ask to print Yes OR No. We have information that would come under the HIPAA compliance act.
So we don't want to print these files even by mistake, which has happened a couple of times, because there is no confirmation box.
Or is this option already available somewhere.
We work on .csv, .txt files.

Pressing Ctrl+P should not print the document immediately. It should display the Print dialog, so I wonder if there's something wrong with your installation.
Clicking the Print button on the toolbar does print the document immediately. If you shift-click the button it will display the Print dialog (this is explained in the help file under Reference Information > The Toolbar).
I can't see a way to configure the toolbar so that the Print button always displays the dialog first, but a workaround is to remove the button from the toolbar altogether and use the Print Preview button instead which will prevent documents from being accidentally printed.
