Insert Paste as Block under Windows 7 64-bit

When I attempt to copy a selected column (very large, about 900,000 lines) and Insert Paste As Block in a different file, the Insert Paste as Block command is greyed out under 64-Bit Windows 7. Works fine for small blocks. Also, I can paste the entire large block OK under 32-bit XP. Anyone else encounter this and have a work-a-round?
