color for default text

Post by xochimahuac »

Hi.
I have been using TextPad 4.7 where I created a new 'VHDL' document class and I assigned different colors. I set the background to black and the 'Text' color to white, and different colors for other things (such as comments, numbers, etc).

I just got a new computer, installed the latest version of TextPad (5.3.1) and I was trying to get the same color scheme, but when I change the background color to black, it automatically sets the text color to some dark gray which is not optimal for viewing.

I went item by item to set the same colors as I have in version 4.7, but I cannot get the text to be white.

In version 4.7 I could adjust the color of that text by changing the 'Text' color, but in 5.3.1 changing that does nothing!

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

AlejandroZ
