textpad as an R editor

Hi,

I'm a long time textpad user and find it works well for several languages I use frequently.

I've recently been playing around with R and wonder what the best way to go about setting up textpad as my default R editor.

It seems like there was a how-to somewhere on the web in the past, but now it seems to be gone.

Anyone here use textpad to edit R code?

Create a new Document Class for R files, and apply the Syntax Definition file that you can download from here:

http://www.textpad.com/add-ons/synn2t.html

You could update the Syntax file to include any changes that have occurred since the file was first posted.
