Change Preferences to cursor etc

I swapped to using the AERO interface and on searches, the cursor in a search is nearly invisible. Can this color/density be changed and where?

This is a matter for your OS. Usually found under Control Panel>Mouse>Pointers

There is a selection and you can add custom pointers.
