Opening files in TEXTPAD

When I click FILE and OPEN, the file opens in NOTEPAD.
To open the file in TEXTPAD, I have to click FILE and OPEN and TEXTPAD.

How can I always open the file in TEXTPAD?

Edit the Windows File Associations for that type of file,
or add the file type to the class extensions in one ofTextPad's default classes or create a new TextPad Class for that file type.

TextPad 5.4.2: Menu > Configure > Preferences > General > Checkbox "Replace Notepad"
