Installer error 2203 during Vista install

I just purchased a Vista computer and was installing Textpad when I got an error. It says:

Error 2203.Database:
C:\Windows\Installer\7ab8b9.ipi. Cannot open
database file. System error -2147287035.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get past this?

I did a reboot on the machine and the install went smoothly. Sorry to trouble you.
