Hello, TextPad supports find in multiple files, that's great. Is there a way to replace within multiple files ?

Yes, first open all documents affected then use the Search and replace and select "all documents"

Ed, this works fine for some files, but what is with several thousand files (as in my case) ?

Re: replace within multiple files
I don't think that's a problem.
Taking it one stage at a time:
Close all files
Now open all files required. - It may take some time and you'd need a lot of memory and/or swap space on the disk.
One way to open them is to do a "Find in Files" (Ctrl-F5)
then select all, right-click mouse and open all
Then do your edit. - just don't make a mistake in your replace string!
