Textpad 4.6 won't install under Windows 95 on my PC.

I couldn't install version 4.6 on my ancient Windows 95 platform. InstallShield tries to download latest windows installer from Microsoft, but the download failed.

Background info.: I'm a Netscape user on this machine (Netscape version 4.5). Internet Explorer is only version 3.0 - I stopped using it after failing to upgrade due to hardware restrictions: it saw the IBM Cyrix P150+ processor as if it were a 486.

I never had such a problem with TextPad 4.5 and earlier.
Anyone else had this problem?

It may be because a lot of Win95 is actually 16Bit. Win95a especially, maybe Win95B more 32 Bit.

Check under the FAQ section...
" Where is the 16-bit edition of TextPad 4?"
