Any plans to port this fantastic program to Linux? my # 1 computer related request at the moment..

Don't know. But I have heard from people that Textpad can be run under Linux using a Windows emulator called something like Wine.

You can in fact run Textpad under Linux, in fact I am doing just that under Win4Lin, using SUSE 8.0
The reason I began this thread is I can't get the column delete feature to work over here, so I had to boot to my native 98se drive and do my file manipulations, and boot back to SUSE/Win4Lin with the textfiles. These were 500 line files, so a bit more delete/arrow key work than I wanted to do
Suppose I should have started a thread for ppl running Textpad in Win4Lin, but I doubt there are any on this forum anywhere..I could be very wrong however...

Do you have word wrap enabled?
Block selecting does not work when word wrap is enabled...
