Select to "find next"
I want to select text from the current cursor position to the "Find Next" postion. Is there a way to do this with TextPad 4.6?

Re: Select to "find next"
Use the keyboard shortcut assigned to find next.
It works for me on all Win versions, I don't think I configured anything especially for that..

Re: Select to "find next"
Yes, but how does one cause all the text between the current position and the found text to be selected? What I want to do is, for example, delete all text between the current cursor position and the next occurance of the given text string.
For example, in the first paragraph of this reply, place the cursor just in front of the word "how"; <do-something-that-I-don't-know-what-it-is>; "find", or "find next" to the word "What"; delete the selected text. The paragraph then contains "Yes, but What I want to do is..." - or perhaps "Yes, but I want to do is..."
Any ideas?

In the Find box, choose Extend Selection, then click Find Next (or use keyboard shortcuts, default Ctrl-F (down) Ctrl-Shift-F (up)).
