Textpad and Context Menu

I am having problems with Textpad 4.5 and 4.6 running on Win2000SP3. When I try to open a file with the Textpad in the context menu everything runs fine. I can open up to 5 files this way using the Textpad or the Send To -> Textpad. The problem occrurs with the 6th file or more. The Textpad just hangs there and does nothing. The Send To -> Textpad cause explorere.exe to crash. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

I too have Win2k and SP3 and now with TP 4.6 have a similar problem with context menu. Can't vouch for 6th file or explorer crash or TP 4.5; however, after a couple of hours of editing have now lost TextPad on Context Menu but still have TextPad on Send-To Menu. Never had this problem with years of use on previous versions of TP on Win2k and NT4. I regularly highlight 50-75 files in Explorer and use context menu to bring them up in TP. Have always to this point used TextPad on Context Menu in Explorer. Haven't tried rebooting to see it this solves it ( system stays up 24/7 and only reboots when a system update demands it ).

Any solutions anyone?
