Running C++?

i am having a problem getting my programs to run using Textpad. when i try to run them it gives me the error cannont access ilink32.exe it is there i have checked. can someone maybe give me a run down of what i need to do to get this to work. i have tryed the tips they give you on the site but i cant get those to work either... help is needed and greatly appriciated. thanx
