Is there a way to do this?
I know it can be done with Explorer.EXE by altering the Properties > Shortcut tab.
When I open TextPad and then go File>Open, it's going to C:\WinnNT...\Personal. I'd much prefer another directory, on my D: drive.
Anybody know how?...

Try going to:
Configure/Preferences
and then choosing Folders on the left. You can specify certain search paths there. I think the Startup one is the one you want.
