Hello I was wondering if there was an option or way to make tabs into spaces using Textpad. When I copy my text and paste into other programs some of them dont show the tabs. Any help is appreciated
Thanks

Re: Tabs and Spaces
There are several ways that TextPad deals with this issue. First question is do you want to apply it to a particular class of docs?
In any case select Configure->Preferences->Document Classes and then select the doc type or default (in fact the + to the left)
(The window on the right gives an option to strip trailing spaces when saving)
Then select "Tabulation" and select the tab spacing you want and select either or both of the options

Hi Ed, what about doing the reverse? After converting to spaces, is there a way to convert them back into tabs?
Thanks again

Have a look at http://www.textpad.com/add-ons/index.html there are a couple of utilities there. I've not used either (yet) - perhaps someone else has experience with them?

I just used TabOut and it worked exactly as advertised.
