Lock on directory under W2k

When I have opened a file and then closed it, Textpad keeps a lock on the directory of the file. I say that because if I try to rename the directory, I get an error about a program still accessing the directroy, until I close Textpad.

This happens if you have set

"Working folder follows active document"
(Configure - Preferences - General)

When the last file is closed, the working folder is still the folder of the last document.
