File Type Icons don't work?
I am using TextPad 4.5 on a Windows 2000 workstation and when I associate any file types with TextPad, I get the default Windows icon that is reserved for unknown file types. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Re: File Type Icons don't work?
Just went through this.
Go to textpad, configure, preferences, associated files. Type in information regarding file extensions apply and exit.
Then go to windows explorer, tools, folder options, file types, scroll to the file you have just entered and see the default icon, click on advanced to change default icon to other textpad icons or anything else for that matter.

Re: File Type Icons don't work?
Thanks for the reply. I added the associated files and they show up in the file type list but the icons do not show up in the directory contents window within Windows Explorer. The screen refreshes but I am just left with the default icon as if there was no association.

It is working now, must have just needed to be refreshed by closing down the Windows Explorer window.
Thanks again!
