Associate TextPad w/ All Numeric FileExts?

I frequently view log files which Informatica names something like stuff.log.05241425 (mmddhhmm). In WinExplorer I can right-click on the file name and select TextPad to open the file, but it'd be even nicer to double-click on it to open it. When I do, my hard drive rattles around for 90 seconds while it compiles a list of applications to present to me to associate with the file extension ".05241425". Obviously, it will do the same for every new numeric extention it encounters.

Is there a way to associate *all* possible numeric file extensions with TextPad?

No, This is a Windows function and you will have to assign all numeric
extensions to Text Pad.
