Right-click where?

I 'opened' a new file and right-clicked the edit area and didn't see anything that resembled 'scroll here'.

Are you using a mouse with custom drivers and/or menus, by any chance?

have you try LEFT click on the scroll bar when the page size fit the screen? (ie. at the time there is no need to scroll)

Yes. I don't get a "Scroll here" menu. I doubt that it is intellimouse causing it.. I'm using it as well. What OS are you using? I haven't downgraded to Windows XPensive yet so maybe it's that?

i m using windows xp, well b4 when i was using windows 98 it works fine for me
i send email to technical support of textpad, they claim that it's the problem of xp only.

but LOOK, shouldn't the scroll bar only appear if the screen cannot show all the content? most windows based program work like that. Only textpad always show the scroll bar even the page can display all the content of the file....or u can simply turn it off, but sometimes when u need it then u need find the option to get it back, they should improve this instead of blaming that it's the problem of MS XP.

I wouldn't stress about it too much... how often do you need to click 'Scroll here' when there's nothing to scroll to? :)

it's like i accidentally click on it, not do it on purpose. turn the scroll bar off is not good for editing long sentence, so....

Hopefully MS will fix the problem in one of the next 50 or 60 bug fixes (or more likely "Windows XP 2003 Pro SR1 Upgrade" :-)
