No "Substitute HTML Syntax for high-ANSI" in versi

Hi all, I am considering the transition from TextPad 3.2.5 to 4.5.

There is, in 3.2.5, the option "Substitute HTML syntax for high-ANSI characters"
(Preferences, Spelling tab), which is very handy: if the file being edited has an
html extension (.htm, .html, .asp), characters such as accented letters are
directly converted into the corresponding html notation (e.g. '&_agrave;' for 'à', the
underscore added by me to ensure that the syntax is readable in the forum).

I've extensively explored the options in version 4.5 but I've not been able to find
this feature. Anybody has ideas whether it is possible to have that same behavior?

There is a topic in the section "Configuration" of the FAQ on this site, concerning this. The solution is to define the charset in the "content"-property of your html-file.

As long as you stay in one character-set this works fine.

Thank you for your reply! At least I can now stop to look for the option. In some way I did not like the idea of having high-ansi in the source of my pages (although I already have in place the meta tag to indicate an ISO8859-1 charset). Apparently, the concern has today no reason to exist.
