Copying and pasting an entire column?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to copy an entire column in a table set up in pipe delimited format, then paste it somewhere else in the sheet, then delete the original column?

Assuming no tabs are in doc. (replace them with something e.g. ¬ if there are)
1. Convert all pipes to tabs
2. In View/Document properties/tabulation set default tab spacing to largest field size
3. Configure/word wrap off
4. Configure/block select
5. Select column, cut, move and paste
6. convert tabs to pipes
7. Convert all ¬ to tabs if required
