workspace issues

Under version 3.2.11, when I open texpad I get a workspace with no open documents, even if when I last left textpad I had left a document open. If I then select File... Open... I get the directory I was last in the last time I used textpad.

Under 4.5.0 when I do the same thing I get the textpad install directory. If I then navigate to the directory I want and open a document in that directory, and close Textpad with that document open, I get asked if I want to save the workspace. If I say yes, then the next time I start textpad I get that document, opened, when texpad comes up.

I want 4.5.0 to work like 3.2.11 did: when I close texpad, close open windows; when I next start texpad, point me to the directory I was last in; di this with no documents already open; and stop asking me if I want to save a workspace anytime I go to leave.

Can I set 4.5.0 up to do this?
