Does anybody know if we can sort the list in the document selector by file extension. I searched through the forum archive and Textpad help with no success.

Hmm, I suppose one could *generate* a custom sorted list in a new window. I do not know offhand whether you could then arrow down to a filename in the list and execute a macro that would switch you to the appropriate window.
