"cut" problem? and 5.0?

been using textpad for a couple years, it had been so long since somehting changed, i've been running 4.4.0 since last summer.. oh hello 4.5. heh

so i installed 4.5 over the 4.4.0 dir and while i was coding some java, i noticed that if i highlight some text and control-x (cut) it, it unfocuses the textpad window... RAR thats annoying. so i have to go get my mouse, click on the titlebar, etc.

i searched the forum, didn't see any other references to it.. anybody else have this, or is there a fix?

as for 5.0, i DO hope they change a couple things.. one imperative is fixing (or at least having a toggle) of the recoculous tab order when you tab thru multiple documents.. have it the current way if that just floats your boat, but i want to be able to make some sense of the nearly random way it'll flip around when i'm going back and forth 'tween a half dozen documents..

i love textpad for the simplicity and quick execute, but there are other editors that are taking over featurewise lately..
