Does anybody know, if there'll ever be an autocomplete function, that takes its words i.e. from the syntax file?
I'm really interested since ultra edit has got this feature...

Re: auto complete
I would like to have this UltraEdit feature too! Write that as an enhancement request to the support. Maybe if we are enough people they will implement this.

Re: auto complete
Yes, if a feature like this could be pressent it would make the editor even more suited for programming. Of cause this should be available as an option for every document class, no need for code-completion in HTML
And maybe a function helper like that of Delphi, when between brackets it gives a help to what argument one is up to. Offcause this should use a different file, but I would not wait more than a couple of seconds before a file like this would be made for PHP, and added to the clip-library.
I say we hope future versions will have this as an option. Or someone programms an addon that can give this kind of functionality.

Auto Complete request
Hello,
I am checking your text editor, and it is a great product, indeed.
I want to suggest something:
Allow the use of Auto Completion.
Currently, you don't have it, and the closest thing is the Clip texts.
Using auto-completion, I could type the Clip title, and after hitting the space key (or something close to that, like CTRL + Space),
the text will automatically be inserted in.
This is very useful, especially for releasing the user from the need to type uppercase letters. It also can verify that the user did not make a typing mistake (if there is one, the letters won't become a combination of upper-lower case). I am talking from a programmer's point of view.
Please let me know if you are about to add this feature. If you want to know how it is implemented, you can check http://www.editplus.com.
It is a good text editor also, but I prefer yours, for various other reasons...
Regards,
Sharon Gordon
