Chinese font could not be displayed

Hi,

Now I use TextPad 4.5.0 to edit a chinese file, I found TextPad
could not display chinese font. Here is my OS and configruation:

1. Windows 2000 Professional (English Version)
2. I have installed chinese font on this computer.
3. I set the Simplified Chinese as default language
4. NotePad can support Chinese-Input
5. NotePad can display Chinese words
6. But TextPad does not display chinese words, just link ????
7. I modified configuration in TextPad, and select chinese
font to display, it does not work neither.

So could you please tell me TextPad 4.5.0 support Chinese

Yes, it supports. You have to select the correct font (e.g. MingLiU, PMingLiU, SimSun, ...) as well as the correct script (e.g. CHINESE_BIG5) in the Font dialog box that matches your document class.
