Screen refresh too slow

I just upgraded from Win95OSR2 to Win98SE. I uninstalled previous installation before deleting Win95OSR2 and then installed it again after I installed Win98SE. It works, but screen refresh is very slow, I'm using resolution 1024*768 with 32 bit colours on my both machines. Same OS, same problem. TextPad was very fast with previous OS.
