I am running NT4.0 sp4. I set textpad to be associated with txt files in Explorer. However, when I double-click on a txt file in explorer, Windows opens up a new instance of Textpad instead of opening a new pane in the already open instance of Textpad.
How can I configure Textpad to open a double-clicked file in the already existing instance of Textpad?
Thanks.

Re: associating textpad with txt files
Select "Configure/Preferences" menu item.
Select "General"
Uncheck "Allow multiple instances to run"
