Does anyone know how to change the custom tool icons from the standard 4,5,6,7 etc so that they can easily be distinguished.
Any help would be great

Re: Tool Icons
This is something that I have also wanted to do, but to the best of my knowledge it cannot be done.
Perhaps the next release of Textpad should include the option of editing icons similar to the way that Microsoft Office apps allow you to.

Re: Tool Icons
Howdy! A possible fix to the icon issue is to find the icons in the code and replace them. IconForge will look inside just about any file for icons and let you modify them. If these icons are inside a .dll or a .exe you need to be sure that you DO NOT change the file size.
I am evaluating TextPad and coming from NoteTab Pro. NoteTab allows me to change case via a toolbar button. TextPad, OTOH, requires a ^L or ^U and does not allow me to apply a macro or a command to a toolbar button.
