I get the following message when I try to open a 159 MB delimited text file in Textpad, "Disk Full while accessing [ file name ]"
The Properties for the c:\ drive (the only local drive) shows 3+ GB available. I don't have problems opening files in any other application, and the message comes from Textpad, based on the display of "Textpad" in the title bar. Any ideas??

Carmen,
On what disk is your Windows paging file? Also, does Event Viewer reveal any more detail?

Re: Disk Full message
The Windows paging file is on c: which is the only physical or logical drive on this laptop. Regarding the Event Viewer, nothing is written to either the System log or the Application log when I get the error -- and I don't have access to the Security log. I'll get our support folks to check that (I can't do anything on Windows 2000 - Yuck!). Thanks for the approach since I was out of ideas!!

Re: Disk Full message
Did you finally get an answer to your disk full problem with Textpad as I am having the same problem although I have loads of disk space available!
Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks.
