performance problem in textpad! win2k!

I got real problem with textpad running on win2000... can someone pliz help me!

it goes very very slow!

not the startup...

it goes slow when you switch between the documents...
it is very slow!

But it is much better now... when I installed the new version of textpad...

I had real problems with the Textpad 4.4....

But I still want to know why it was so slow!
