Hello
i was interested to know if it is possible to switch over between binary and regular text mode after editing the file in any one of the modes? one method is to open the same file twice and do it, but is it possible to do it using any tools, macros or is there a special menu/function to do it?

First, you can't edit a file in binary mode (in version 4.4 and lower). This is just a view.
Second, I did not find any command to switch between binary and normal mode although I looked through the complete list in Configure/Preferences/Keyboard - which I think lists all available commands.
Third, you can have the file opened in both modes at the same time. But when you try to save the file in the text mode window, you will get a sharing violation.
