Help: Configure Colors

In the help topic for Configure Colors there is no mention of the "Set Default" button. Does it mean:

a) Apply default colors?
b) Assign these as default colors?

Moreover the current (default) color is not selected (does not have focus/is not indicated) on the palette.

A quick few lines would do.
