Next Document Shortcut

Hi, I've been trying Control-Tab to move to the next document, but this shortcut isn't quite working as I'd wish. Control-Tab moves through all the documents I've just changed before it goes to the next document on the list. Any way to fix this so I can just move from one document to the next, edited or not?

for me, Alt-1 activates the selector (i can't remember whether I set this key myself or if it is set by default.
With the active selector, use up or down to move to next/previous doc, then press return to activate the doc.
You could put these 3 Steps into a macro and assign a key to the macro.

Thanks, alt 1does switch to the doc window! It would be perfect if this worked, but when I try to record a macro, these keys are not picked up. I save the macro, then run it, and nothing happens. How do you add alt & control key sequences to a macro if they don't record?
