ctrl+tab and full screen mode

When I work in full screen mode writing a program and compile it, the command result screen shows.
Then, if I press ctrl+tab to get back to editor screen, there shows a thin bar at the bottom of the screen.
This is very annoying. Is there a fix for the problem?
