I have been using Textpad to take notes and like the fact that the word wrap feature wraps to the tab indent point of that line. This (along with reduce/increase indent) allows for a fairly easy and striaghtforward outline based note taking.
I have recently been asked to share notes and have found that other text editors/word processors do not word wrap to the tab stop. I was wondering if there is a way optionally to save a file so that the word wrap settings are followed.
More specifically, I would like the ability to save a file so that the word wrap looks like the printout.
To do this, I assume that one would have to:
- open a dialog box
- ask for the columns number against which to wrap
- determine the number of tabs/spaces for each line
- wrap the remainder of the line against the column-wrap setting
- indent the wrapped line against the tabs/spaces setting
I have looked through the help documentation and FAQ without much luck. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Charles,
All you need to do is select all the lines and apply the Edit/Split Wrapped Lines command. To do that automatically, set "Save with hard breaks" for the document class.
