Find in Files Issue: search status doesn't update unless the mouse is moving

I'm running 8.22.2 and I'm seeing a weird issue with Find in Files. The search status doesn't update unless the mouse is moving. If the mouse is in the dialog box, it will update but very slowly. If the mouse is outside the find dialog, the status won't update and it just sits there. I have to constantly move the mouse for the search to progress at a decent pace.

I just checked 9.8.2 and it has the same issues.

I think it's actually working but is just updating more rapidly when the mouse is moving. Please confirm.

Actually, this does seem to be a real problem. The search will often stop infinitely until I move the mouse. If I do I a search for something common in a directory with a large number of files (so, I get a large number of "hits"), the Search Result will sporadically stop scrolling indefinitely until the mouse is moved.

We have a release candidate which includes a fix for this bug, among others, which it would be helpful for interested users to verify, before it goes on general release
