Dark Mode visibility

When in Dark Mode and I split a window (vertically or horizontall), It is very hard on my eyes seeing the two Window halves clearly. As, they tend to run together. The "splitter" bar is too dark without much contrast to make it easily distinguishable. Is there a way to add some color where the "split" between windows is ?

I realize that this is a Windows function... but.... if there is a way to add more contrast here, it would be nice. "Ideally", both use a different (brighter) color for the split, AND also a small amount of dead (or gutter) space between the two windows so text on each side of the split doesn't just appear to run/blend together.

The visibility of the dark mode splitter bar has been improved in TextPad 9.7.1.
