Using Alt+Tab to switch Windows

Greetings - Now using 9.5.0 64 and brand new Windows 11 but find that when I switch from some other window back tTextPad with Alt+Tab, Textpad stalls and I must tap Escape several times to get to the document text. It appears that Alt+Tab sends the focus to the command line, but not to the same place/sequence. Please advise if there is a fix for this.

I see nobody else has commented on this, and I can't reproduce it, so there must be something unusual about your system or configuration. Perhaps you should raise this with technical support.

Thanks very much for trying this out. I reinstalled Textpad 9.5 earlier today but the problem persists. It doesn't matter what program I have in a second window when I switch back, Textpad is in the "File" menu item and requires an "Escape" to return to the document. I will just bear with it and see if the next releases of Windows and/or Textpad coincidentally return this to the original behaviour. Anyway, thanks again for your help.

Just to close this out, maybe someone else will experience the problem. I removed v 9.x and reinstalled v 8.x. Everything, including the Alt+Tab functionality was restored. Thanks again for the help.
