Text too dim when cursor out-of-focus

Hello,

Is there a way to:
  1. Maintain Title-Bar text intensity (not soft grey) when moving cursor off page (focus)
  2. Darken search results (not soft grey) when moving cursor off page (focus)?
I use software KVM to another screen/computer. The resultant low intensity grey almost disappears for these old eyes of mine.
