Replace with multiple spaces produces tab character

Post by gcotterl »

When I enter a string of spaces in the "Replace With" box, one (or more) tab (\t) character(s) get inserted in the document. How can I prevent this?

Note: The "Regular Expression" box is checked

What version of TextPad are you using?

We can't reproduce this behaviour, so if you can reproduce it on demand please send a copy of a file where this occurs to "support@textpad.com".
